Talking woodpeckers.... i have an unexpected visitor this winter...a pair of red bellied woodpeckers! they are gorgeous! Never seen them in this neighborhood! YORK, Maine (southern coast of maine) a delight!
I love the knitting illustration especially. I didn't realize this was done on the computer. Cool. Also, we met your friend Anne at Kindling Words and she's so nice. I love the story how she met her husband.
Anne had a great time and enjoyed meeting all of you. So sorry (see above post) I miussed being there. Next year. Thining of you all. And Liza, who I know only virtually. Should we all try illustrators Friday?
Love the woodpecker. He looks like he's about to dance, or just finished. I finally went snowshoeing today. There were lots of coyote prints. I kept turning around to watch my back! Not many birds out today.
I'm working on an essay about knitting for the woodpecker in our backyard. I've been itchy to draw so did some illustratios/sketches to push me along.
